We do not store any Credit/Debit card details. All of our online payments are administered through third party merchant service providers. For online purchases we currently utilise the services of Worldpay and PayPal, these services providers may change from time to time without notice and you should therefore satisfy yourself of the privacy policy and data collection of the merchant services provider that you use prior to submitting any payment details. For in store purchases we use Worldpay, again we do not store any credit/debit card details. We accept no responsibility for the way in which third parties process or store data.
If we register an item on customer data may be registered with the manufacturer or warranty provider, by this company or the customer. When we do this we provide details of the customer, customers contact details, the data of purchase and any other sales information that is required to register the item for warranty, this includes serial numbers and other identifier numbers of the items that have been purchased, the information required can vary between manufacturers, should you not want us to register your warranty you must notify us at the time of purchase, we cannot accept any responsibility for how the warranty provider uses the data provided to them, should you require that information you must contact the warranty provider/ manufacturer.
Some products operate tracking services in the event of loss or theft to make it easier to try and recover the items, these services operate tracking facilities via App based technology, they utilise serial number information and other identifiers that are built into the tool itself, you should check the privacy policy for the individual tracking provider, the App and the warranty provider to identify how any data that is collected from the tracking facilities are used. Even if we have registered your product for you we cannot accept any responsibility for the actions of third parties who are involved in the administration, provision or other services associated with the tracking service that is built into the product.
